By through website and Who wrote about this one?? It's DR. HEARING PROFESSIONAL..

No Difference compares with others? Unbelievable Hearing Professional Psychiatrist dare labeled and offended really rude remarkably toward to Deaf people! Who wrote author book about Africa people cultures and Deaf People cultures. Why can't DR.Professional will leave them alone and just human being. Who they are cannot afford expensive living whereabouts the poorest country. What more, Africa Gov't not even care about others poor people on the border of one places. Wow, DR Professional came and visit the Africa and really can judging people's lives. Should I judging on DR. Professional looks appearance ?
Or Hire Donald Trump will say, "You're FIRED.." He will always focus on your (Dr Psychiatrist appearance.

Agreed. We need more Deaf professionals in a variety of high-level research positions. We are getting there.
That's right! More Deaf professionals need to get in the field when evaluating Deaf clients but sometimes they are prevented by getting hired due to several reasons.
One is that it is hard to find qualified Deaf psychologists. Secondly, the positions are not available that the hearing long timers hold these positions. Thirdly, there are certain agencies refusing to hire the Deaf (this is difficult to prove though) because they didn't want to lose their control or power over the matters of Deaf clients.
I think we need to become more of a watchdog by checking on our local agencies and schools for the Deaf if they have Deaf professionals in the field and send them a message to hire professionals who are Deaf. It is time for the Deaf to be visible in this field!

You've really approached a good subject that needs to be discussed more. Deaf peers open more better to their peers on a professional level. The comfort and trust is there.
Both of similar were written by hearing professionals yes, I see your point but unfortunately we have very little number of Deaf professionals that field in that area! We have more Deaf people who have doctrate degrees yet they do not write any articles then what are they doing with DRs or PHDs and for what? Secondly, the big problem is paternalism take care of everything because of money!!! When somebody read that book "The Mask of Benevolence". I read that book in late 1990's and I am not surprised because they already look down at us as a disadvantage minorities. Today more Black people who field in that area become more Professional and respond much better in anything that something say about Black people! They would respond very well, but Deaf people are still far backlog in that fields and they are unable to respond that well! Then what are you doing about it?

Okay, I'm very happy to respond you.
I have no idea about American which the cases are impact issues "Compares" what make them DR determine using "compares" with Black peoples and Deaf peoples. Really totally I do not appercated with that issues. By the way, In Ontario, Canada have two of them Deaf Professionals psycholgist are at the CPRI and Psycholgist for young Deaf children. Their name: DR Juno Champan (sp last name) work for CPRI and Cathy Chovaz-Mckinnon work for psycholgist relate to young Deaf Children. That's all I've known so far but no idea about rest in American.. I would be happy hear from you again..
